Magento comes out with patches and upgrades frequently, and it is important from a security and performance perspective to stay on top of these updates. Failing to do so can result in hacked websites and theft of customer information.

Before upgrading or patching your Magento site, we’ll perform a quick audit to ensure core files have not been edited and that all of your extensions are compatible with the new version of Magento.

Beyond patching and upgrading Magento, it is also advisable to set up remote monitoring so that you are alerted whenever there are site outages or malfunctions with your website. We have gone as far as creating our own custom scripts that will simulate a checkout on the website to ensure that transactional capabilities are maximized, since off-the-shelf monitoring tools will not provide this level of detail.
